ANUS

Anatomy and Function
The anus is the excretory opening of the intestinal tract. It consists of two sphincters which control the defecation and is covered by a mucous membrane which is well supplied with blood.

The inner sphincter muscle (musculus sphincter ani internus) is controlled autonomously, the outer sphincter muscle (musculus sphincter ani externus), however, is controlled attentively. Together with the veins complex, these muscles are also referred to as continence organ. An injury, malformation or medical condition can lead to anal incontinence. [1] [2]

Sexuality
The anus can be a sexually very interesting zone for women and men. The touch alone already might be very intensive and stimulating. However, it should be made sure that the existing intestinal germs such as enterococci and E. coli don't reach the vagina or the urethra because they can cause infections. [2] [3] [ANAL INTERCOURSE]
